On top of our collection we also offer tailoring commissions and alteration services for all types of clothing at a reasonable price. Our shophouse is located in the Air District, near Hanaemi and Sindrian Nights. ✿ Employment opportunities are available for anyone interested! Those skilled with a needle are preferred, but so long as there's a seamstress or tailor listed, we'll also be open to apprentices who are willing to learn for half the pay. Outside and inside, the whole building stays true to its traditional design and visitors who come by will be greeted with wooden floors and earth-toned walls once walking through the noren curtain to enter. Fabric of different patterns and colors can be seen sitting on display shelves or hanging off of racks, and both mannequins and staff sport the latest designs for the season. Pick your flavor of kimono, or perhaps a gi & hakama for ease of movement. Modern designs such as lolita are also available, set aside in their own corner and largely notable for their length and altered peplum-style bottoms often fluffed up with tulle skirts underneath. Naturally, being Zodion, don't think we're neglecting a range of sensual options; varieties in sheer fabrics are very popular to take to bed! If you don't find something to your taste in the store, we'll also gladly take a commission and tailor a new creation to your needs. | ||
So you want to take something home, but you don't quite know how to choose and the devices unfortunately don't have Instagram to beg for help from your friends. Don't worry! Upstairs is the staff-restricted Tailor Workshop, and the Fitting Rooms, where you can take your time choosing. The staff will also assist in putting on or changing out of your picks and offer helpful advice if asked, as part of the service in shopping at Feathers & Silk. We realize not everyone is familiar with Japanese clothing and that traditional kimono can be difficult to tie, so we're more than happy to help. In light of some happy accidents, plaques with the following gentle reminders now hang on the walls: ✿ While sex is permitted, please note that if you perform any sex acts in our wares, we require you to purchase them. ✿ Offers of blowjobs/oral sex are not an acceptable form of tipping. ✿ Please be respectful of sound levels. There are people trying to live right above you. Use your inside voice when moaning your partner's name. |
The third floor is locked and appears to be a residential unit. Staff who don't already live here are welcome to spend a night or two, however, and Izumo will also rent rooms to anyone who'd like to live above the shop for cheap. The inside of this apartment is consistent with the japanese theme, with five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a dining room, a living room and a kitchen. ✿ none at the moment! | ||
